New Offerings for Epcot's 15th Annual International Food & Wine Festival
While the International Food & Wine Festival is still a few months away, new offerings and events are drumming up excitement!
First off, two new countries have been added to the Festival Marketplaces. Belgium will offer steamed mussels with roasted garlic cream, and of course, waffles! South Korea will serve up "bo ssam," lettuce wraps with pork and a kimchi inspired slaw.
Secondly, new events have been introduced!
On September 30th the new "First Bites Opening Reception" includes a preview of the food and wine offerings as well as a sampling of the festival seminars, demonstrations and entertainment. The cost is $195 plus theme park admission and will take place in the Festival Welcome Center.
The 3D "Disney Dessert Discovery" event will take place every Friday. For $45 plus theme park admission, you will be treated to desserts, wine and cordials and VIP viewing of Illuminations, complete with special "3D" glasses for the fireworks.
Another much anticipated aspect of this year's festival is the opening of the two new restaurants in World Showcase - Le Hacienda de San Angel and Via Nappoli!
Further details, including a complete list of events, Marketplace booths, celebrity chefs and much more will be announced in July.
